Chuck Le, D.D.S.
Dr. Chuck Le is a founding member of 7 Day Dental and is a recognized leader in the field of dentistry. Following an intensive academic education in high school, Dr. Le was accepted into the prestigious School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. There, he participated in the first accelerated Doctorate of Dentistry program, earning his doctoral degree in six years. However, Dr. Le’s education did not culminate with his graduation from the USC School of Dentistry.
Christine Chung, D.D.S.
Dr. Christine Chung completed her undergraduate studies at U.C.I. in 1992. She went on to Loma Linda University to earn her Doctorate degree in 1996. Dr. Chung is a member of the American Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, and the California Dental Association. Dr. Chung constantly strives to improve and update her knowledge in the field of dentistry and related studies. She has always strengthened her understanding of diagnosis and treatment by reading research and attending post graduate seminars on such subjects as periodontal surgery, implants, esthetic courses, and endodontics. Her love of dentistry and genuine concern for others are two qualities that impress those who know her well. When she is not working, she enjoys tennis, hiking, playing piano, golf, traveling, singing, and meeting new people.
Hamlet H. Ong, D.D.S.
Dr. Hamlet H. Ong have been a general dentist for the past 21 years. In 1988 I graduated from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. and returned to southern California to practice dentistry. I grew up in Fullerton, graduating from Servite High School in Anaheim (class of ’80) and then attending USC, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1984.
Brian Green, D.D.S.
Dr. Brian Green is a graduate from Claremont Mckenna College and then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine in General Dentistry from Tufts University of Dental Medicine located in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been working as a general dentist at 7 Day Dental in Anaheim and Laguna Woods, California. It is here that he conducts routine dental management for patients including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and pedodontics. He works extensively with both HMO and PPO plans and covered procedures while attentively maintaining his patient chair time scheduling.
Micheal Bailey, D.D.S.
Dr. Michael Bailey is a native Californian and a graduate of Loma Linda University, Dental School. He is an extremely talented and accomplished dentist with over twenty years of experience. Baseball is Dr. Bailey’s great passion and has been known to fly to Cleveland, Boston, and many other cities to view his favorite past time. Dr. Bailey delivers quality dentistry as he strikes out decay!
Tu Quynh Nguyen, D.D.S.
Dr. Tu Quynh Nguyen is an expert in all areas of general dentistry, in addition to cosmetic dentistry. She graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago in 2001. As a person who both professionally and personally enjoys learning and who strongly believes that there is always more to learn in life, Dr. Tu later earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of California in Irvine. She has also augmented her formal education by completing Boot Camp and Doctor Leadership, both intensive professional development training courses. Her professional clinical training includes conscious sedation, patient management, and the relatively new Invisalign dental procedure. Dr. Tu enjoys the relationships she develops with her patients through providing them with the highest degree of care possible, an experience she considers rewarding and which her fluency in English, French and Vietnamese, with a working vocabulary of Spanish, facilitates. Her combination of people skills, perspicacity, and professional acumen has instilled in her an openness and willingness to greet life’s challenges with enthusiasm, and to provide the very best of care for her patients.
Thomas Nguyen, D.D.S.
Dr. Thomas Nguyen graduated from USC and loves golf, snow boarding, and traveling with his wife, Joanne. Dr. Nguyen is our resident “Mr. Personality” with his warm and humorous demeanor. Dr. Nguyen was once voted the most talented in his dental school class. He is an extremely proficient clinician and we are so proud to have him on our staff.
Thuan Huu Nguyen, D.D.S.
Dr. Thuan Huu Nguyen graduated dental school from Northwestern University of Illinois in 1991, after which he earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of California, Davis. Dr. Nguyen then entered the United States Navy commissioned as a lieutenant, serving from 1990 until 1993 in the Navy Dental Corps. The Dental Corps is comprised of officers who hold a Doctorate in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine (D.D.S or D.D.M.). These officers are often at sea for several months or more, providing dental care and treatment for seamen and Marines, even deploying to war zones. After leaving the service, Dr. Nguyen achieved his greatest life-long aspiration: being selected as a member of the 2001 edition of the National Registry of Who’s Who. His hobbies include flying (he has had 20 hours of lessons so far) and playing classical guitar. He speaks fluent English and Vietnamese, and he is a highly skilled dentist, specializing in endodontics and extractions.
Jim Shen, D.D.S.
Dr. Jim Shen is a graduate of USC, 1989. He is an excellent dentist who strives for perfection. Patients love his gentleness and kindness. Our staff love him for his caring for everyone around him. His two favorite things to do when he is not providing dental care to our patients is eating and sleeping.
Renee Herrera, D.D.S.
Dr. Renee Herrera is a 1993 graduate of Loyola University, and has pursued continued education and professional training in endodontics, implantology, and restorative dentistry. In addition to general dentistry, his specialized skills include the branches of dentistry that deal with the treatment of the gums, the inner tissue and roots of teeth, dental implants, bridges, crowns, dentures, and inlays. As a family man and a father of two, Dr. Herrera finds providing care to children especially rewarding and he ministers to his young patients with the same care he would provide his own offspring. He is also bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. When he has any free time, Dr. Herrera is an outdoor enthusiast whose pastimes include hang gliding, inline speed skating, scuba diving, sky diving, snow boarding, and surfing. His natural personal enthusiasm is also intrinsic to his professional work ethic, and he is committed to his belief that one of the keys to a better quality and more successful life is having good oral health and a beautiful, healthy smile, and it is his goal to provide both.
Hae Jin Hong, D.D.S.
Dr. Hae Jin Hong is a graduate of University of Minnesota. She has been working in a large group office for 4 years before moving to California where she joined 7 Day Dental in 2005. She is married and is a mother of two beautiful young boys. Her goal is to educate and facilitate each individual's discovery of their own oral health needs. She is caring, gentle and committed to the highest of quality of care, hopefully to make a difference in the lives we care for, optimal health begins in the most fundamental part of you, your smile!
S Stephen Sollitt, D.D.S.
Dr. Steven Sollitt has been practicing dentistry at a high level for the past 26 years. He was a recognized leader in the dental community of Downey for 16 years. Following a college preparatory experience at Loyola Academy in Chicago, he got a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado and a Masters of International Management at Thunderbird in Arizona (ranked #1 in the country in International Management for the past 10 years). After a brief career in International Business, he realized that dentistry was the career for him.
Maria Capiral, D.D.S.
Dr. Maria Capiral practiced for 8 1/2 years in San Diego. She moved here in Orange County in 2008 to be closer to her family and friends. After she had her son, she joined 7 Day Dental in February 2008. Dr. Capiral and her husband Ernie enjoy travelling and doing outdoor activities. They are both involved in music and are active members of their church's choir. When she is not working she spends quality time with her son. Dr. Capiral likes listenning to her patients' needs and desires so she can educate them and help them attained optimal dental health and have beautiful smiles.
Raphael Kim, D.D.S.
Dr. Raphael Kim graduated from School of Dentistry, Seoul National University in Seoul and served Korean Air Forces for three & half years in Korea. After moved into California, US, he went to USC School of Dentistry and also graduated from law school of Lincoln University and got JD degree. Dr. Kim has been practicing dentistry for 30 years.
He is married to a very dedicated wife, who was a CEO of non-profit health organization for 15 years and resigned to finish her doctoral degree in USC. They have only one 32 year-old son. His hobbies are Ballroom dancing, writing essays and travel. He is also an amateur Violinist. He is a devouted catholic and has been serving as a catechist in church.
He loves teaching and has been teaching students in USC Dental school for 19 years.
Sophia Vu, D.D.S.
Dr. Sophia Vu graduated in 2007 as a dentist. Dr. Vu’s goal is to develop trust and an understanding relationship with her patients so that she can help them improve their current conditions. She enjoys reading fantasy novels, retail therapy, shopping on eBay, golfing, and playing scrabble.
Lisa Tran, D.M.D.
Dr. Lisa Tran earned her doctorate degree in 1994 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is married and has kids. Aside from dentistry, she also has a passion for interior design.
Mehran R. Mahmoudian, D.D.S.
Dr. Mahran R. Mahmoudian graduated in 1993 as a general dentist. Dr. Mahmoudian enjoys camping, swimming, playing soccer, basketball, and table tennis. His goal is to take care of his patients needs to the best of his knowledge and ability. Dr. Mahmoudian performs at maximum level in order to ensure that his patients are content and satisfied.
Peter Lem, D.M.D.
Dr. Peter Lem graduated in 1983 from Northwestern. He enjoys doing regular cardio excercise, is married, and has children. His goal as a dentist is to always be aware of current advances in the dental profession and share that knowledge with his colleagues. Dr. Lem creates interpersonal relations with his patients in order to understand their dental needs better.
Austin Wall, D.D.S.
Dr. Austin Wall was born and raised in San Francisco, attended UC Berkeley and graduated from the University of California San Francisco Dental School in 1977. He purchased a dental practice in Redwood City which was sold in 1989. Dr. Wall was attracted to corporate dentistry, practicing in Western Dental offices and rising to be the manager of the Oakland, CA office, the largest in Northern California. Deciding to try something different he went to Arizona and was one of the first dentists to be credentialed there from California. While there he did investigative interviews with the state dental board. We wanted to come back to California and returned, settling in Irvine and practicing in Anaheim. Dr. Wall has 4 children, youngest is 24. He enjoys reading science and science fiction as well as computer use.
Arthur Cabrera, D.D.S.
Dr. Arthur Cabrera is one of our practicing doctors here at 7 day dental. Not only is he a dedicated and talented doctor but he uses his skill and excellent communication skills to educate and care for his patients with the utmost attention. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Cabrera attended San Jose State University, University of Colorado, Boulder, and USC School of Dentistry and graduated June 1976. He grew up in San Jose, California as well as Boulder, Colorado. Aside from practicing dentistry Dr. Cabrera enjoys bicycling (Tour de France; every year in July), and reading everything that comes across him. His family consists of his wife of 34 years, and 3 sons. The eldest is a grade school teacher, another is a police officer and the youngest is a veterinary technician. Dr. Cabrera is also the proud owner of 4 female boxers which he loves dearly. Dr. Cabrera philosophy on life is that life should be kept simple, deal with life on a daily basis, and focus on the positive. We are proud to have Dr. Cabrera as part of our dental team and look forward to continue working with him and his patients.
Christine Hoang, D.D.S.
Dr. Christine Hoang is another one of our doctors and she is a University of California, Los Angeles graduate. She graduated from this prestigious institution in 2001 and has been practicing dentistry since then. Dr. Hoang grew up in Vietnam and is bilingual in both English and Vietnamese. Her hobby consists of traveling to new and exciting places as well as reading works that spark her interests. Dr. Hoang’s family life is made up of her husband and their son. Dr. Hoang believes that the key to life success and enjoyment is to just be happy and enjoy life to its fullest. Dr. Hoang is an excellent and we enjoy the environment she creates for our staff and her patients.
Daniel Cao, D.D.S.
Dr. Daniel Cao attended the University of Southern California, Class of 1997. He is an active member of the ADA, CDA, OCDS, and CAVAD. Dr. Cao believes that in order to better his profession and the community he must keep attending advanced dental education (restorative, endodontic, implantology, and oral surgery) in order to offer his patients the best up to date treatment and improve their overall oral health. Dr. Cao strives to provide his patients with the most comfort possible to make their dental experience a pleasant one. Aside from practicing dentistry, Dr. Cao enjoys swimming, playing tennis occasionally, computer surfing, and working on cars.
Phillip Fu, D.D.S.
Dr Phillip Fu is a wonderful doctor who graduated from a prominent university and has over 9 years of experience. Dr. Fu enjoys practicing dentistry and uses his charisma and humor to create a vibrant atmosphere for his patients. Dr. Fu always tells us and his patients that, “You don’t have to brush your teeth, just the ones you want to keep.” His sense of humor and great personality make the children he treats feel fearless and comfortable. He is a married man who enjoys traveling, visiting new places and spending time with his wife and three year old son. We enjoy the work atmosphere and ethic that Dr. Fu provides for us and are proud to have him as part of our dental team.
