While at Tufts, he increased his understanding of implant stent fabrication, placement, and restoration.  Additionally, he worked to better understand occlusion, how to restore, and how to preserve the TMJ apparatus.  He also worked hard on the craft of esthetic analysis and veneer preparation, temporization, and cementation.

Dr. Green also has a strong interest in dental research.  He attended an internship in Seefeld, Germany with 3M ESPE.  It is here that he conducted implant torque strength testing using various adhesive materials.  He then analyzed impression detail repeatability of various adhesive materials using SEM analysis and finally recorded and organized the data into excel spreadsheets and graphs for examination by Chemical Engineers.  His research was later presented at the International Association of Dental Researchers (IADR).  This was the third time his work would be presented at this conference.  Before his implant work, he focused on Orthodontics while working at 3M Unitek as an Orthodontic Product Development Manager.  Here he conducted bond strength testing and texture analysis using various dental adhesives, primers, and brackets.  His work with 3M Unitek lead to two oral presentations at the IADR and a publication in the prestigious American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics.

Dr. Green continues to provide his patient’s with better care by increasing his knowledge of dental medicine and dental treatment.  He attended “Mastering Technology to Enhance Patient Care: Digital Applications” as well as “Lumineer Live-Patient Placement and Cerinate Smile Design Workshops.”  He is a member of numerous organization including: Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry, Orange County Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, California Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, International Association of Dental Researchers, Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Green also believes it is important to provide dentistry to all people and consequently he has volunteered his time and skills.  He traveled to Nicaragua where he provided dental oral hygiene instruction, diagnoses, and treatment to children and adults in Sinua, Nicaragua.  He provided oral surgery assistance via extractions and helped inspire ideas for improving economical dental care to rural communities using fluoride supplements.  He also traveled to Winslow, Arizona to the Indian Healthcare Center where he worked with assistants to perform dental procedures and give health awareness to the Navajo Indian population.  Here he performed simple and impacted extractions, alveoplasties, frenectomies, pulpectomies, and restorative procedures.  Finally, he assisted dental residents with Boston Renasisance Charter School (BRCS) in Tufts’ pediatric dental clinic as well as providing dental education to classrooms at BRCS.
