Hamlet H. Ong, D.D.S.

 

Dr. Hamlet H. Ong have been a general dentist for the past 21 years.  In 1988 I graduated from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. and returned to southern California to practice dentistry.  I grew up in Fullerton, graduating from Servite High School in Anaheim (class of ’80) and then attending USC, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1984. 

I am currently living in Anaheim Hills with wife Linda and 2 children, Allison and Ethan.  In my spare time, I play golf, read fiction novels, family activities, and rooting for my alma mater, “Go Trojans! Fight On!”

Having been in general dentistry for over 20 years, I have treated many patients of all ages, from little children to teens to adults to senior citizens.  I strive to always respect and regard my patients with utmost compassion while providing the most comprehensive and professional treatments.  I attend continuing education classes to keep up to date on the latest in dentistry.  I have completed numerous courses in Orthodontics (Braces), Endodontics (Root Canals), Prosthodontics (Partial and Complete Dentures), Periodontics (Soft Tissue Management), Restorative (Crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays) and Cosmetic Dentistry (Porcelain veneers, bleaching, composite fillings), and Dental Implants.  Besides providing excellent dental treatments, I believe the most important job in being a dentist is to educate the patients about their teeth: prevention of dental maladies, maintaining good dental health, and the treatments necessary for their dental needs.  Being successful in all these aspects results in forming a good and strong dentist-patient relationship. 

My professional affiliations are the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Harbor Dental Society, and the Academy of Dentistry International.  I am also on staff at the USC School of Dentistry as part-time faculty.  I am excited to join Dr. Chuck Le, the dentists and staff of 7 DAY DENTAL.
