Rabin Marfatia, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Rabin Marfatia is our Pediatric specialist. He graduated from the School of Dentistry from the University of Southern California School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in molecular cell biology from the University of California Berkeley. He has several years of experience working with pediatric dental cases. Dr. Marfatia’s goal is to provide dental care for adolescents and make their experience at our dental office as comforting, educational, and as fun as possible.
Dr. Marfatia joined Anaheim 7 Day Dental Specialists in July 2003 exclusively to treat infants, children, and adolescents including children with special needs.
Dr. Marfatia has over ten years experience working with pedatric dental cases, starting in 1998 as a staff member of the University of Southern California mobile dental clininc providing dental care for underprivileged children, and over the past five years treating children at one of the top five children's hospitals, Children's Hospital of NY Presbyterian, and at several pediatric dental practices in Southern California.
The Sugeon General has identified dental caries in children and adolescents as a "silent epidemic." Due to the steady rise in children with cavitites and need for early intervention, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry has determined that children should see a dentist "within six months after the first baby teeth come in and no later than 12 months of age."
