Dr. Chuck Le is the founder of 7 Day Dental and is a recognized leader in the field of dentistry. He immigrated to the United States in the 1970s to attain the American Dream through dedication, effort, and hard work. Following an intensive academic education in high school, Dr. Le entered the prestigious School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC), where he participated in the first accelerated Doctorate of Dentistry program, and in 1989, after only six years, he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. While this marked the beginning of his remarkable career, it in no way signaled the end of his education or training.

Since the opening of the Euclid office in Anaheim in 1990, 7 Day Dental has grown to a total of four locations in Orange County. The other offices are one more in Anaheim, on Lincoln Avenue, and the most recent offices in Ladera Ranch and Laguna Woods. Dr. Le has continued to keep abreast of odontological advances made through continued professional development and education, which is no mean feat considering the scope of the rapidly developing new procedures and techniques evolving in dentistry. In addition to his hundreds of hours of postgraduate specialized education, Dr. Le completed a three-year residency program at Esthetic Professionals in Woodland Hills in California, from 2002 to 2005, where he studied, practiced, and developed his expertise in esthetic dentistry. More recently, Dr. Le completed a one-year residency in implantology at the Boston Dental Institute where he qualified under the exacting examination and program guidelines to become a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) as a certified specialist in dental implantology. His training, his experience, and his pioneering efforts in esthetic dentistry have also made Dr. Le a specialist and a master in the areas of porcelain veneers and dental implants. Dr. Le’s professional memberships include the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. Dr. Le is also a noted business leader of the Anaheim community. In 2006, the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce awarded 7 Day Dental the Business of the Year Award, and in 2010 conferred the esteemed Business Person of the Year Award upon Dr. Le himself for not only his business achievements, but also for his professional and personal contributions to society. Dr. Le has also received recognition from Top Docs L.A. (http://www.topdocla.com) for his outstanding achievement.

For several years, Dr. Le has dedicated his personal time and resources to working with organizations and causes that help the less fortunate, as well as youth development and well being, both internationally and here. His philanthropy has included his contribution to the disaster relief efforts after the 2004 tsunami in Thailand, and the restoration efforts after major conflagrations in Vietnam. In response to the Fukushima, Japan nuclear disaster in March 2011, Dr Le donated all proceeds from new-patient referrals to the ongoing humanitarian efforts to help the victims of the catastrophe. Previously, Dr. Le and Anaheim 7 Day Dental, working through the Giving Children Hope Foundation, donated 20,000 toothbrush kits to the relief efforts for the earthquake victims in Haiti.

Here at home, Dr. Le spearheaded a team of 14 oral surgeons and 100 volunteers to launch “Dentists Pulling From the Heart Day” on February 13, 2011. This effort was an unprecedented collaboration of dental health care providers who performed free extractions and other treatment for the indigent and those who cannot afford to pay for basic dental care, in order to relieve their pain and treat any infections from neglected teeth, and to raise awareness of the importance of good dental care. “Pulling From the Heart Day” has become an annual event now, held around Valentine’s Day. It is estimated that over 300 patients are treated each year, patients who otherwise wouldn’t be able to receive dental care at all.

Dr. Le and Dr. Christine Chung, his wife, are both active in the Orange County Vietnamese Lions, and both are active in helping American veterans through Corey’s Kitchen, headquartered in Irwindale, California. Through Dr. Le’s donations and the donations of others, Corey’s Kitchen is able to distribute food and household groceries and to provide financial and spiritual counseling to needy veterans from its six locations in the Los Angeles region. Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen has personally given public recognition to 7 Day Dental and the 7 Day Team for the selfless donation of their time and care they made to the community to alleviate those suffering, particularly children.

Dr. Le’s family includes his wife Christine, their six-year-old daughter Chiana, and their three-year-old son Carlen. Dr. Le’s love for children and his concern for their well-being has become an even higher priority in both his professional and his personal life since becoming a father himself, and he continues to provide sponsorships to the Y.M.C.A., as well as being a regular benefactor to several local youth sports teams. Recently, 7 Day Dental hosted a “toy give-away day” for under-privileged children. Dr. Le is also directly involved with the youth development program Learning for Life. This outstanding program, established by the Boy Scouts of America, prepares and develops today’s boys and girls into tomorrow’s citizens and leaders.

What says the most about Dr. Chuck Le, however, can be told by his patients who have come to trust in and rely upon Dr. Le for their dental care. Regardless of a patient’s financial status, Dr. Le believes that they deserve the best treatment available, and he takes the necessary time with each patient to educate them and explain their options to them, because it is his personal and professional conviction that every one of his patients deserves only the very best. While some people may have misgivings about visiting the dentist, when the dentist is not only among the best in the field but also a caring and compassionate professional, the difference is remarkable, and this best describes Dr. Chuck Le.

                                                       Dr. Christine Chung, DDS

Dr. Christine Chung is a general dentist who considers her patients as her family and gives them the same care as her own. She is one of most renowned and caring dentists. As the co-owner of 7 Day Dental, she operates our two offices located in Laguna Woods and Ladera Ranch. Dr. Christine Chung completed her undergraduate studies at University of California Irvine in 1992 and graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1996. Right after obtaining her doctorate degree in 1996, she has been practicing general dentistry in the same year. Dr. Chung is a member of the American Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, and the California Dental Association.

Being a devotee of her profession, Dr. Christine Chung constantly strives to improve and update her knowledge in the field of dentistry and related studies. She has always strengthened her understanding of diagnosis and treatment by reading research and attending post graduate seminars on such subjects as periodontal surgery, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and endodontics.

Dr. Chung has a passion for dentistry. Her love of dentistry and genuine concern for others are two qualities that impress those who know her well. Her happy moments are when she is able to help a patient restore his/her smile, or help a patient get through the pain of a dental emergency. She has done full mouth cosmetic restorations perfectly for many patients. Since she has the ability to work with children so easily, they also love her, and she enjoys treating children.

Dr. Chung speaks both English and Vietnamese fluently. Her pastimes are traveling, meeting new people, dining, fashion, tennis, and golf.
